ChoreBot

ChoreBot

ChoreBot began as a simple automation using Make.com to sync tasks into Discord reminders. From there, I rebuilt it in n8n, which became the longest-running version — flexible enough to keep up with our routines and reliable day-to-day.

Later, I added a Python script that rewrote the reminders in the style of my son’s favorite rappers, giving the bot a personality upgrade. Finally, I migrated the whole system into Notion, where chores and points live in a database that syncs directly to Discord.

Stack: Make.com (early), n8n (longest-running), Python, Notion, Discord Webhooks

Notes: ChoreBot has evolved through multiple platforms, each version teaching me something new about automation. What started as a utility became a fun, family-centered system with personality.
